Welcome! You're about to join a small, elite group of candle making lovers who enjoy a rich, illustrious heritage! Today, we make candles for pure enjoyment! But, try to imagine back to more than hundred, even two hundred years ago, when candles weren't just a pleasant luxury. Candles, prior to the advent of electricity, were a necessity -- they were used to provide the lighting for the house once the sun set. It's difficult -- if not impossible -- for us to truly imagine living without the convenience of a light switch to flood our living rooms with light.
