"Fast-paced, immersive and full of adventure - [...] the perfect fuel for young imaginations."¿A.F. STEADMAN, author of Skandar, on Dragon Riders of Roar

The SIXTH magical adventure in the epic and funny bestselling Land of Roar series.

Arthur and Rose Trout have created the magical world of Roar, where they have amazing adventures with their friend Wininja and his baby dragon Pipsqueak. They are spending half-term in Roar when they learn that their grandfather Jay has been bitten by a rare, furry green Jadefire dragon. Scales have begun spreading across his skin, and he will fall into an eternal sleep in just five days if the cure isn't found. The twins must travel to Grandad's parallel magical world, Audela, through the jam cupboard in the basement to find the cure. Audela is full of amazing inventions like floating islands and sky trains - and Grandad's own childhood friend, Walter Boxer. Not only do the twins have to encourage Wininja and Walter to make friends, but Korrigan the powerful sea witch has her eye on Win's baby dragon Pipsqueak ... Can they find the cure, keep Pipsqueak safe and return home to save Grandad before it's too late?

Thrilling magical fantasy adventures that celebrate the power of imagination, The Land of Roar is perfect for readers aged 8-12 and fans of Skandar, Percy Jackson and How to Train Your Dragon.
