About the author-Dr Andrew Begley is a General Practitioner in Stockport, Greater Manchester. He obtained a Masters in Medicinal Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Leeds in 2000. Following that he was involved in research and obtained an MRes in Biological Sciences from the University of Manchester. He obtained MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2006, MRCP (UK) in 2014 and MRCGP in 2018. He is currently involved in teaching and education with a role in supervising final year medical students from the University of Manchester.
