Lily Sullivan is a herpetologist. Or, at least, she will be, once she completes her goal of growing up and becoming the greatest snake researcher of all time- just like her Dad was before he disappeared into the marsh.

The volunteers at Sullivan Snakes, Lily's family sanctuary, are buzzing with excitement when news breaks of a newly discovered snake species right in their backyard. What's more- scientists have found that the snake, the Marsh Serpent, produces a unique oil that might just grant immortality to humans.

But in order to harness the immortality offered by the snakes, scientists must do the unthinkable- kill it.

Lily and her friends at the sanctuary are desperate to save the snakes, but they aren't the only ones on a life-or-death mission. The richest man in America, Gene Atkins, will stop at nothing to harness the immortality of the Marsh Serpent- even if it means getting rid of Lily and her friends.

Can Lily protect his new snake species and her friends? Or will Gene and his crew of hired snake hunters get what they want- even at the expense of these innocent creatures?
