Here we find heartbreak in ordinary materials: passwords, pizza crusts, moving boxes, a heating pad, an ice maker in summer. These poems avoid the stance common in haiku - gazing wondrously at nature. Instead, this accomplished poet's work feels lived rather than merely observed and composed."
