A complete bibliography of the writings of the late Oxford Professor of General Linguistics Roy Harris which were published during his lifetime, a comprehensive chronological record of the initial critical reception of all of Harris's books in the form of book reviews, and an indication of where his ideas have lead other scholars, both in linguistics and in a wide range of areas traditionally considered beyond the limits of "linguistics proper"--philosophy, the arts, literature, information science, historiography, ergonomics, communications, semiology, anthropology, economics and other social sciences.
