Aprašymas

In a world of espionage, disguise and murder, a mother fights to save her son from being lost across time

For Charlotte Ida, a British expat living in Fujisawa, Japan, every day is a blur of low-paid freelance work and a stale coexistence with her husband. The only thing keeping her together is her fourteen-year-old son, Jack. Then she starts having stark, terrifying dreams about fire.

One terrible day, Jack disappears. Charlotte's dreams intensify to a window to four hundred years in past, and she sees everything through the eyes of someone else... where she sees her missing son.

Espionage, disguise, and murder are no strangers to Mitsu, a spy for warlord Oda Nobunaga. While gathering intelligence in Odawara, a young boy appears as if from nowhere, claiming to know the fate of her lord.

Can Charlotte, grabbing onto what little control she has, help her son through Mitsu? And will Mitsu be able to protect Lord Nobunaga from the dark future Jack claims is approaching? And will their actions change history forever?
