Aprašymas

In Ridiculous Light, Valencia Robin finds her subjects both in a Milwaukee childhood of neighborhood libraries and trees like “awestruck afros,” and an adulthood marked by the joys and tumult of family, love, and artmaking. Taking on subjects as varied as Lake Michigan, changing notions of race, TV Westerns, and fatherlessness, Valencia Robin is a storyteller of the first order, a documenter not just of memories but of how we remember.

Vivid and inviting, Ridiculous Light bursts with beauty and wisdom.
