Aprašymas

Like a recent hotel commercial featuring nervous, would-be bridesmaids and young businessmen contemplating a trade show, "Should I stay or should I go," was a snappy little tune that played out all summer long on TV. I had been bombarded by emails from old classmates asking if I were going to return to Fribourg, Switzerland for the 50th reunion of our Junior Year Abroad from Georgetown. At the Courtyard opening last night, Dave pointed out that the surprising thing about reunions was how much older the OTHER people looked. Nancy Frankel said that when she went to her 60th reunion, people had to have name tags with photos of what they looked like all those years ago so you could identify them. But as Gertrude Stein has pointed out, "We are always the same age inside."
