Contents Include: Domain of the Red Deer The Forest of Exmoor The Old Times The New Times 1825 to 1885 Stag Hind and Calf Harbouring and Tufting Chase of the Stag Chase of the Hind Records of the most Notable Chases History of the North Devon and Devon and Somerset Staghounds List of ear marked Stags killed between 1855 and 1885. The book is well illustrated with photographs and a map. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. Read Country Books are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
