Dr. Jacques teaches philosophy at Lycoming College amidst the relaxed and natural beauty of Central Pennsylvania. His previous books are The Cat Who Loved Beethoven, a philosophical novel of home and happiness; and The Republic, a clear and concise introduction to the innovative greatness of the modern big republic, its creative self-directing civil society, and its immensely productive private enterprise. Dr. Jacques is presently at work on Reality 101: The Second Course, which addresses the subjects of ethics, politics, history, art and religion.
