Sin is revealed and exposed rather than hidden or covered from the mind. The painful reality of personal error is clearly seen and rooted out, with tearful vigor, due to a true fear of God. The diligent student of Psalms also comes to understand the providential hand of God in one's life. God puts people to the test and chastises his beloved creation so that they may attain unto his expected righteousness. To not study Psalms is to miss out on a treasure trove of Godly knowledge. You have one life and it is short. Make sure you study every book of the Bible. We are all running out of time.
