Joe Tenning thought he knew his father...he was wrong.

After 25 years of estrangement from his self-absorbed father, Joe is summoned to his bedside. He reluctantly goes in order to have closure on his dysfunctional parental relationship.

Joe finds himself in a small town, much like many he had lived in as a child. After a short, heated reunion with his dad, he vows to come back the following day with a better attitude. When Joe returns, he's shocked to find his father's lifeless body. Suspecting foul play, Joe needs to unravel what really happened.

He is suddenly drawn into piecing together the disturbingly, bizarre work in which his father has been covertly engaged. Soon it becomes apparent that someone else of interest is also seeking to learn more about his father's past actions.

He is not Joe's friend.

Despite the desire to return to his quiet life running his winery, Joe now must wrestle with the consequences of his father's work on himself, his loved ones, and the lives of several others. If he does not, many more could die.
