Richard F. Bansemer, D.D. is the bishop of the Virginia Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He has been the pastor of congregations in Virginia, Colorado, and Florida. He is the author of six other books published by CSS Publishing Company. Bishop Bansemer is a graduate of Newberry College and Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and holds honorary doctoral degrees from Roanoke College and Newberry College.
