She met her teacher and spiritual guide Gurani Anjali in 1969 and became part of a community that created a non-profit center providing instruction and education in yoga, meditation, and philosophy. Ann formed Mountain Lotus Yoga and Meditation upon moving to Arizona in the early 1980s.
