Pony is Running in Circles: As Seen in Children Books Illustrations (Volume 2) is the second book in series People and Horses: as Seen in Illustrations. The books in series serve as a course of the History of Illustration for students, purchasing their degrees in educational field, art, English and American literature, humanity, and social studies programs. The books present a program for those faculty professional development, who are dedicating themselves to teaching in subsequent departments in the colleges and universities. This book may also engage fine art artists and illustrators as well as those, who simply loves horses and equine art and want to pay tribute to illustrators depicting relationships between horses and variety of personages and their adventures, described in new and retold tales and fiction and non-fiction books for children and young adults. The scope of 100 stunning children books illustrations, portrayed relationships between book's personages and horses, and numerous comments from experts, cover more than the 200-year period of this relationship's existence in illustration. Based on a well-researched material during the studies in European and American universities, and following research, this author analyzes illustrations from children's books, magazines, and gallery pieces, which reflect relationships between personages and horses in varying aspects and situations through the American history.
