His book also contains the most detailed roster to date of the Confederate soldiers who died there including hundreds of fellow prisoners whose names do not appear on the Confederate Memorial. It also contains the names and residences of 38 political prisoners who died at the prison. Those forgotten men can now take their rightful place alongside their comrades who gave their lives for their country.
