Aprašymas

We have the intrinsic need to believe in our purpose, meaning, and design in this world, lifetime . . . whatever. Without that, our reason for being, for our existence, is futile. We become obsolete, unnecessary--or so we are led to believe. It's pure arrogance, egotism. Yet it's imperative to our survival as a species and vital to our evolution. It is not enough to just be. How ludicrous is it to entertain the notion that we're in this world just to live in it.

Your seeing, smelling, appreciating, and touching it validates the existence of that solitary rose. But is that rose's existence truly defined by your acknowledgment? Or is it just a rose and you just someone smelling it?
