Life moves in cycles and sometimes the same cycles repeatedly land us right back where we started without any benefit or worthwhile effect on how we move forward. Phoenix is a collection of poems inspired by experiences within the vacant space between the end of one life and the beginning of a new one. Through the symbolism of the mythical phoenix, Chelsea's poems craft a story of rising above adversity, burning away the past, and rekindling the fire of life from the ashes.
