Prior to PFTII, the proprietary fingerprint template (PFT) evaluations were performed to measure the accuracy of two-finger matching verification systems for two plain impression fingerprints. In another study, the performance from matching images of plain impression fingerprints, (referred in this report as "plain"), and rolled impression fingerprints, (referred in this report as "rolled"), of thumbs, index, middle, ring and little fingers were shown for the participant's SDK matchers.
