Human civilization has been fraught with many problems since its beginning. Crime and poverty have been the two major problems daunting human beings since the beginning of civilization. A number of other social and economic problems appear due to crime and poverty in the society. There have been attempts to solve these problems, but the solution still eludes human society. This book attempts to diagnose the problems of civilization by categorizing human beings on the basis of rationality and organizational capabilities. It proposes a simple solution in the form of universal maintenance allowance, which should lead to rationality among humans. Possible impacts of the arrangement on various aspects of human life such as employment, poverty, crime, health, unrest, international relations, environment, etc. are described.
