Stefano Righi's project Patriots explores contemporary nightlife culture. Through high-contrast noir imagery, the photographer captures the raw theatricality of clubbing and the vulnerable intimacy of dawn, transforming instinctive emotions into an elegant and restrained visual style. The people portrayed in the book's pages are not abstract symbols, but real, concrete stories: authentic lives, often invisible, always complex. Working mainly with 35mm film and analogue cameras, Stefano Righi embraces imperfections - such as blurred focus, harsh flash, unstable framing - as part of his visual language. His images capture reality without filters: vulnerability, love, excess and fragility coexist in his shots, which are not staged but authentic.

The convergence of underground aesthetics and editorial quality elevates clubbing to a solid cultural heritage, transforming its value from a lifestyle phenomenon into a precious artistic document. All the photographs in the book were taken over the last decade in Milan's most alternative clubs, from Plastic to Magazzini Generali, from Botox to Just Cavalli and Don't Tell Mama.
