This is a story about a pheasant shoot as seen through the eyes of our heroic bird, number 361. Having been told that the 'camp' he had been so unceremoniously dumped at, along with 400 other unsuspecting birds, was just a stopover until they would all be taken to Paradise Farm, an idyllic place they would be allowed to live free and happy lives.
