Jim's memoir is part of his final therapy to address a lifetime of pain. This completed memoir at age 95 is his attempt to resolve the unrest and the stress of memories that had plagued him all his life. Despite a tumultuous and abusive childhood, Jim now appreciates the many individuals who gave relief whether they were aware of their influence or not. While the book exposes some of the cruelty imposed upon him during his early years, Jim has found new joy in life, especially in finishing this project and in forgiving those who were complicit in the abuse or did not care enough to change circumstances.
