Il défie l'observateur dans ses notions de perspective, défiant l'observateur dans ses notions de perspective et de sens commun, offrant un commentaire parfois disjoncté; parfois moqueur; mais toujours lucide sur le monde de l'image et de la publicité. Jean Martin (RAVEN) IS A Montreal artist working in the visual arts. In this series of collages he explores the notion of contrast. He defies the observer with diametrically opposite images justapose to make a totaly new comment on the world of imagery and publicity. His work challenge our everyday perspective and common sense with their lucid commentary on the media world that surrounds us.
