Many of these poems are set in, or inspired by, the Snowy Mountains area of Australia. Ms Webb-Pullman has captured the time and place perfectly. She uses topics and moods ranging from the whimsical to the serious as her fertile mind moves about through the high bush.

Webb-Pullman's style is as modern as today, but she also uses classical elements in her work. She uses a multitude of clever poetic devices.

This is a book of the highest order. A book I know will delight poetry lovers regardless of where they live. Those in the USA and other countries can use it as a guide to the fabled land of the Snowy Mountains. The area where the great bard Banjo Paterson set his famous poem, "The Man From Snowy River."
