Principles of Biblical interpretation are included throughout the book to facilitate the study of any selected passage. Notes on the Life of Jesus Christ assumes that the Four Gospels are the Holy Spirit inspired writings of the men whose names are on them. Sprague bases his comments on a solid, conservative approach to the Scriptures. However, Notes on the Life of Jesus Christ will challenge some traditional approaches to preaching and teaching certain Gospel passages.
