Attending college should be a time of growth and progress. But a different scenario is the norm at Texas colleges and universities. In this book the reader will find out what it is like at Texas universities with ample attention given to the learning process and any factors that come to distract the student from getting all that they can out of the experience. An education is important, but so are high standards and a challenge. These things are sacrificed when one enrolls at a Texas college or university. Colleges in Texas are rooted in a past that offers nothing by way of learning how to think and expand, but gives plenty of attention to traditions that do not serve to assist the scholar in the pursuit of higher education.
