Dr. Loewen practiced medicine in Wichita, Kansas, for over fifty years. He has held many leadership positions, including President of West Wichita Family Physicians, Medical Director of Physician Corporation of America, and service on the boards of Mennonite Brethren Missions and Services and St. Francis Hospital. He and his wife, Joyce, reside in Wichita, Kansas, with their two cats, Buffy and Hershey. They have three daughters, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
