Aprašymas

"Andrea Mara is fantastic!" --Freida McFadden

Two children get on the train, but only one gets off in this gripping and twisty thriller from Andrea Mara, author of Someone in the Attic and It Should Have Been You

It's a hot, sticky August morning on the London Underground platform. You push through the rush-hour crowds and your two young daughters jump on the train ahead of you. As you try to join them, the doors slide shut and the train moves away, leaving you behind. Frantic, you signal for them to get off at the next stop.

The four minutes until the next train are the most terrifying of your life. When you finally reach the following stop, you expect your daughters will be waiting for you. But on the platform, you truly begin to panic: Only one child is standing there.

Has your other daughter gotten lost? Been taken by a passing stranger?

Or perhaps the culprit is closer to home than you think. No one is telling the truth, and the longer the search continues, the harder she will be to find...
