In a post-apocalyptic future, civilisation has rebuilt around a massive forest – will humans be able to avoid making the same mistakes again and live in harmony with nature? Part one of two.

In the distant future, after our world collapsed, new civilisations have emerged, built along neo-feudal structures. In what used to be France, on the edge of an immense forest, stands Cocto Citadel, a fortress-factory ruled over by a lord made almost immortal by advanced technology. But now his daughter, Blanche, finds herself at the heart of a despicable plot – and that as nature itself is showing signs of rebelling against the humans, who seem ready to make the same mistakes as their ancestors.
