Following the death of her father due to a mysterious illness contracted while
serving in Afghanistan, Aubrie struggles with the God of her upbringing. Acting
as a pillar for her severely at-risk, pregnant mother, while facing continuous
harassment by her liberal humanities teacher, Aubrie wrestles with the voices
of faith inside her. When she is questioned about her faith by the most unlikely
person, Aubrie realizes just how personal her relationship is with God. As life
continues to unfold, Aubrie and those around her come face to face with
God in an extraordinary circumstance, and she learns what true miracles are.
