Natica is a genus of small to medium-sized predatory sea snails, marine gastropods in the family Naticidae, the moon snails. The genus is known from the Cretaceous to the Recent periods. Naticidae, common name the moon snails, is a family of minute to large-sized predatory sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the clade Littorinimorpha. Naticidae is the only family in the superfamily Naticoidea.
