This book is a list of approximately 2,000 persons who signed the Revolutionary oath of allegiance in Philadelphia giving the name of signer, the date of signing, and sometimes giving the occupation and residence of the signer. In many instances, the signer was previously from one of the other Thirteen Colonies, and this as well as his European origins are mentioned.
