Sulekha Samantaray is a bilingual writer from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She writes both in English and Odia and has fourteen published books to her credit. Among these are four poetry collections, four short story collections, one book of essays, one bilingual long poetry book and four books for children. Many of her English poems are included in various national and international anthologies of poems. For her contribution to literature she has received thirteen awards from different literary organizations. She had worked in the Department of Higher education, Odisha and retired in the year 2014 as Head of the department of English, Prananath Autonomous College, Khordha.
