Aprašymas

Updated and reissued in paperback to celebrate the club's Premier League title triumph, My Arsenal Life is the story of the lost world of Arsenal's post-war history, told through the lens of lifelong super-fan Martin Wengrow, a friend and confidant to legendary players and managers from the 1960s to the late 1990s. Reissued in paperback to celebrate Arsenal's Premier League title-winning triumph, the book captures an era when the game was more personal and access to players far closer, as Wengrow built lasting friendships with figures such as Frank McLintock, Peter Storey, John Radford, George Graham and David O'Leary. From the glory of the 1971 double to the drama of Anfield '89 and the controversies that shaped the club's modern history, including a deeply personal perspective on the George Graham 'bung' scandal, this is a rare insider's account of Arsenal's highs and lows from within. The kind of access Martin enjoyed would be impossible in today's game. This is his Arsenal life.
