Mini Adventures in Jerusalem (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

Mati and Ahmed live in neighborhoods not far from each other in Jerusalem. Meeting by an extraordinary coincidence, they discover they share something unique: they are thumb-sized! Later they would meet a girl, Amal, their same size. In no time they develop close relationships and embark on adventure after adventure in their shared city. Along the way they learn so much about each other, the languages they speak, their faith, and their culture. They relish their differences, and they are eager to learn more. Growing up in three faiths, they also find that they share important values like caring for all creatures, giving to those in need, and hospitality. Their special friendship built on at times harrowing experiences shows the way for others. They illustrate the prophet Isaiah's vision of a peaceful world where "a little child will lead them". (Isaiah 11:6)
