As the world approached the year 2000 (Y2K), a catastrophe was expected. Digital clocks in millions of computers were predicted to fail and take down net-works world-wide. Americans were warned to stockpile food, fuel, water, and survival gear. ------ The author started stockpiling and also began a journal.
