This book is full of creative expression, and innovative creation through food, in an unfamiliar form. Each dish is what's considered good food while in prison. I stand by each one, and can win over anyone with the way I prepare them. This is my attempt to simplify the cooking process, for people who find themselves in a similar predicament. Or, it's for the people who live far outside an environment like prison, with an inquiring mind about the food available while inside. But absolutely no need, or desire to visit the confines of a jail first hand. You will find answers to the most frequently asked questions, pertaining to what's on the menu.

Stephen Futrell is a proud father of three. He is born, raised, and harvested in the city of Denver, Colorado. A skilled cook, who aspires to become a certified chef once fully liberated. He's also got other literary projects in the works, so be on the lookout.
