This book, the first volume of a planned trilogy, tells the story of all the urban rail systems in the large Tokyo/Yokohama conurbation, from the numerous metro lines with their through operation onto a number of suburban railways, to several monorail and other special transit systems, and to the only two tram routes left in Tokyo. As usual, the book is illustrated with a large number of recent colour photos and detailed network maps.
