This antique book contains a simple guide to metalworking. The projects in this book are primarily intended for the introductory metal shop, and were compiled over a period of five tears for the students in the author's shop. The jobs are divided into three main groups: art metal, sheet metal, and ornamental iron; and are arranged in order of difficulty. The chapters of this text include: Monogram Book Ends, 'Ducky' Napkin Ring, Flat Pan, Memorandum Holder, Whistle, Auto Ash Container, Windmeter, Weather Vane, Book Ends, Bed Lamp, Desk Lam, Name Plate, Watch Fob, Etched Bracelet, Scout Neckerchief Slide, Etched Paper Knife, Etched Roller Blotter, etcetera. This text was first published in 1942, and we are proud to be republishing it now, complete with a new introduction on metalwork.
