Abandoned by her husband, June Mooney is in utter despair. "Hello, excuse me," June approached Harold abruptly. "I just want to let you know that I'm already serving a French menu, therefore I'm expecting you to serve anything else. Besides, don't be fooled into thinking that the people of this town will choose your restaurant over mine, especially if you try to serve the same foods." She menacingly pointed her trowel at him, still wearing her soiled gardening gloves.
"Ah! You are from Meringue! I love it, oui, c'est magnifique... magnifique," he paused to set down the box he was carrying to rub his chin. "It brings back... such delightful memories," he grinned.
"I'm warning you," she gave him a fierce look.
"Maybe, I will have the pleasure of telling you about these sweet memoirs someday... and, my friend, do not fear my cooking. It is based on la cuisine du terroir, honest and simple meals made of local foods... I never serve the same dish twice in a week."
