My first book, "Memories Of My Journey...Stories From My Youth" includes a variety of short stories that span from the age of five through my early to mid-teenage years. Growing up with two brothers and a sister offered many opportunities to experience life in a unique way during the fifties and sixties. As a family, we went through hard times with very little money, but there was always a loving connection that held us all together. As I tell my story about special happenings and personal feelings remembered from long ago, I've included events like Christmas, family gatherings, time spent with my dad, general mischief encountered with my friends, watching my older brother grow up and start dating, playing sports in the neighborhood and high school, scout camp, attending a very unique school and many other unusual coming-of-age activities. I believe everyone will relate to those times, good or bad, that most of us went through and be glad it was all a part of our lives. That time is now referred to as the "good ole days", full of exciting activity, but also the reason we ultimately became who we are today. After finishing this first book, I know you will be interested in continuing my life's story with three other books that follow. They will carry you through my life, using a variety of short stories, all the way to the present. It has truly been a wild ride for me and a journey worth sharing with you!
