An encyclopedic collection of recipes from the 1900-1950s, reworked for the 21st century modern kitchen. When there were no modern conveniences and gadgets, not even electricity in the far-off, often isolated, farms, our great grand mothers cooked and prepared everything freshly everyday themselves. There were no cook books. Recipes were learnt and passed down generation by generation.
