As a group, they play games together in the wild landscape of the Australian bush, but rest assured: Margie and Wolf are always side by side. One day, they play an exciting game of tag. They round up a whole cast of characters, including Wally the wombat, who's easy to catch; Willow the emu; Bobby and Joey the kangaroos; and even Sally the fox, the clever one. Later, they swim in the stream and end the day by gathering with Margie's family to hear old stories. Bravely, Margie and Wolf show a poor, lost butterfly home. Margie learns of her people's spirit gods, but something is not right in their quiet community. She lives in fear of being taken away from her tribe, family, friends, and the only home she has ever known-but with the help of her animal and fairy pals, the fear could go away.
