Over the last several years, loss and love have found him at his lowest points. Moving back to Texas has caused him to write deeper and fuller. Less of a man and more of a soul. Love is still present, but it is distant. It has changed over the years, though it is still something Mr. Douglas clings to in order to remain alive.
