How lucky we are to live in Australia. This little book of poems tells us, and especially our children, how lucky we are with the land, the weather (mostly), our abundance of sports and hobbies and good things to do, our safety and freedom, our schools, and systems that make everything work.

And what about our teachers, our families, our caring neighbourhoods, our religions and mixed societies, where there are helping hands for everyone? Oh yes, our mighty minerals, our huge farming lands, all wrapped up in golden beaches and rich landscapes.

Certainly, we've got problems and we have to face up to them.

A good place to be, and to do our best to keep it that way- our lucky country, Australia.
