So, when the entire population of Heaven shows up on his doorstep, his happy life is ripped out from beneath him. Forced to team up with the Grim Reaper, their quest leads them to the hallowed halls of the Kingdom of Angels, where they make an earth-shattering discovery. Heaven is closed and God is missing.

Meanwhile, a mysterious portal has opened in the rubble of the small town of Oceanview, and the Oceanview Seven, the only survivors of the zombie-demon apocalypse, find themselves hunted by a strange and deadly creature called The Caretaker.
