I imagine being 'lovelorn' in shades of purple to bluish hues- reminiscent of bruises, because that's how it feels. One isn't hurt to the point where it's bleeding physically, but you are hurt. You don't feel chosen or loved, but it is okay. With time, you learn to choose yourself and rise above it. This book dives into those moments of reflections, dilemma, anxiety, despair, rage, defeat, acceptance, strength and eventual resilience with which you pick yourself up, do not settle for less and move on. It so happens that it takes strength in walking away from anything that seemed really promising, but it doesn't make you happy anymore. There is always hope for the better.
