This is a relatively short collection of poems based on the universal human theme of love explored from different perspectives - from the sublime to the mundane; from the gross to the subtle; from the objective to the subjective. The poems highlight the various movements and shades of love, the associated emotions and various feelings like happiness, pain, passion, anger, greed, care, hope, competitiveness, frustration, restlessness, irritation, peace, hatred, healing, gratefulness, delusion and anxiety that are evoked in the state of love. Going through all that emotional turmoil and mire, one may suddenly see oneself clearly in the broken mirror of love, transcending the persistent sense of un-satisfactoriness of human existence to ultimately accept and love oneself.
